hyperbaric oxygen therapy

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is immersing your body in an oxygen rich environment while under increased atmospheric pressure, therefore increasing oxygen (O2) levels in your body.

why HBOT?

We know that oxygen aids in almost every function of the body and is a major source of energy for our bodies. Increasing oxygen means better cellular function. Better cellular function means naturally increasing stem cell production, increasing rate of healing, decreasing recovery time after exercise, competition or surgery, improving brain health and cognitive function, increasing energy levels, improving immune function, improving skin health and naturally combating many aging processes.

HBOT Research
How You'll Benefit

Oxygen is good for the function of the body, so almost anyone can improve the state of their body’s function through HBOT. Whether you are a competing athlete looking for a competitive edge, a middle-age parent fighting fatigue or a retiree wanting to improve your quality of life, HBOT can help. Our research page addresses many specific conditions that have been helped through HBOT.

When to Consider

Utilizing the benefits of HBOT depends on your health goals. Many people utilize HBOT for increasing recovery rate. So this includes athletes after an intense competition or work out, post-operative recovery plan and people in the middle of a serious health crisis. Just like eating well and exercising help to improve your body’s function, some people use HBOT on a regular basis (1-4 times per month) as a part of their healthy lifestyle. Our wellness advocates can assist you in dialing in your health goals and see if HBOT is right for you.

What to Expect

HBOT is administered in what is called a chamber. You simply take off your shoes, enter the chamber, lie down and relax. As the chamber pressurizes, you will feel your ears adjusting to the pressure, similar to that of taking off and landing in an airplane. Our chambers are large enough for a large adult to comfortably lie down and move around on a comfortable padding, while being able to see out through windows. During your session, you can sleep, listen to music, read a book or use electronics while in the chamber. However, we encourage our clients to relax to get the most out of their session. After a session you are free to go about your day as normal… in a healthier state of being.
